The Trauma-Informed Approaches to Hoarding Disorder has been delivered to over 300 health and social care professionals across the UK, and has now been taken up by the Chartered Institute of Housing as part of their training provision. The course is CPD-accredited and considers hoarding disorder in a holistic and therapeutic context, exploring alternatives to house clearances and eviction, and looking at the positives to buying into a new model of support for this incredibly complex and often misunderstood illness. It is aimed at all those looking to expand their knowledge on hoarding, allowing the expertise of a variety of delegates from across all different fields to be channelled.
"I have received terrific feedback on the course, in particular on your understanding and knowledge of hoarding. It is already having an impact on how delegates approach hoarding, and how they should look for prevention when spotting the early signs." - Training Manager for Housing Plus.
