We are pleased to invite you to a free one-hour seminar to mark the release of the Hoarding Assessment Tool in Children’s Homes (HATCH), a free practical resource designed to support professionals in identifying when hoarding behaviours may be impacting children’s safety and wellbeing in the home.
Developed by our Family Case Worker, Amy Coulson, the HATCH tool offers a sensitive and accessible way to recognise early signs of risk, open supportive conversations and help ensure that children have safe and healthy spaces to grow.
During this session, you’ll hear from Amy and our director, Kayley Hyman, as they discuss:
- How hoarding can affect children’s daily life, safety, relationships and development.
- The purpose, structure and practical use of the HATCH tool.
Whether you are a social worker, early help practitioner, school staff member, housing professional, or anyone working with families, this seminar will offer helpful guidance, language, and approaches that prioritise care, dignity and child wellbeing.
Free to attend and open to all professionals interested in children’s safety and hoarding awareness.
We look forward to sharing HATCH with you 💚
