We are entering hashtag#HoardingAwarenessWeek2026 on a high after the launch of the Gwent Regional Hoarding Taskforce last Friday.

This multi-agency approach, made up of organisations across health, housing, social care and the third sector, aims to create better support systems for those affected by hoarding.

It was so wonderful to see so many organisations, alongside those with lived experience, coming together to share learning, experiences and ideas on how we can start working together to develop a combined approach.

With the conversation around the urgent need for standardised support guidelines being at the forefront right now, we are really proud to be part of a community that is already working hard to adopt that strategy.
